This print originates the very rare travel book 'Hierusalemsche Reyse' by A. Gonsales. The book describes his pilgrimage from Antwerp to Jerusalem and back. Giving a detailed illustrated account of the holy places, Egypt, Syria and indigenous flora and fauna.
