Antique print titled ‘Histoire Sainte, Ancien Testament, David montrant à Saül le Morceau de son Manteau.’ This plate shows a scene from the Old Testament; David showing Saul the tip of his Coat.’

This print originates from a rare set of plates showing scenes from the Old Testament and the New Testament. Mostly from the books of Genesis, Exodus, Judges, Samuel and Kings, but also from Job, Jonah, Tobias, Esther, Judith, Daniel and Ezechial. Published in Paris: Dezobry et E. Magdeleine (Lithographie Becquet freres), circa 1840.
