Various methods of crucifixion. This print depicts religious punishments and originates from 'Byvoegzel tot het Algemeen Groot Historisch, Oordeelkundig, Chronologisch, Geografisch, en Letterlyk Naam- en Woord-Boek van den ganschen H. Bybel (..)' published by A. Calmet, Amsterdam.
Artists and Engravers: Antoine Augustin Calmet (February 26, 1672 - October 25, 1757) was a French Benedictine monk and Biblical scholar active in the late 17th and early 18th century.
