Rare Tinted lithograph of Monaco. This print originates from 'Sketches at Home and Abroad' by J.D. Harding, 1836.
Artists and Engravers: Harding's 'Sketches at Home and Abroad' was a milestone in the development of colour printing. For the first time more than one lithographic stone was used, allowing different tones to be printed. Harding drew his own sketches onto the stones, which were then printed by Charles Hullmandel, the leading lithographic printer. The print run was limited to 1000 copies.
Condition: Fair, general age-related toning. Few closed tears, slightly affecting image. Please study image carefully.
