Description: Antique print titled 'Deuil des Femmes Greques a Rama' and 'Bapteme des Grecs dans le Jourdain'.
The upper image depicts Mourning Greek widows in Rama, the lower image depicts the Baptism of the Greeks in the River Jordan, Israel / Palestine. This print originates from 'Naaukeurige beschryving der godtsdienst-plichten, kerk-zeden en gewoontens van alle volkeren der waereldt'.
Artists and Engravers: Bernard Picart (1673-1733), a French painter and engraver.
