Antique print titled 'Nouveau Mexico'.

Copper engraving with a panoramic view of Mexico city. This print originates from 'Histoire générale des voyages, ou nouvelle collection de toutes les relations de voyages par mer et par terre' by Abbé Prévost.

Artists and Engravers: The original volumes of 'Histoire Géneral des Voyages' were written by Antoine François Prévost d'Exiles, a French author, novelist, theologian, natural historian, and a priest of the Jesuit and Benedictine orders, but continued by numerous other authors after Prévost's death.

Engraved by Chedel. Pierre Quentin Chedel (1705-1763) was a French etcher and engraver.

Condition: Good, given age. Original middle fold, as issued. Browned to the right of the middle fold. A small stain in the lower margin. Some creasing in the margins (well outside image). General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study image carefully.
