Antique Greenland Gyrfalcon Bird Print by Lilian M. Medland, circa 1908

The print was created by Lilian M. Medland for Charles Stonham’s important natural-history publication The Birds of the British Islands. It was published in London by Grant Richards in the early 20th century and forms part of a beautifully illustrated series devoted to British bird life.
