This engraving, executed by Aubert and printed by Ch. Chardon in Paris, was part of a series of views of South American cities intended for a European audience eager to discover the landscapes, architecture, and life of the New World.
Condition: Very good, with light age-related toning and some foxing, mostly confined to margins. Plate impression strong and detailed. Blank verso. Please review the image carefully.
